History

The journey of Mr. Jayasankar in the flour milling industry began in 1986 when he joined a leading flour mill in Madurai from erection. He completed his flour milling technology course in CFTRI, Mysore with a gold medal. After working for more than 17 years, he became consultant to most of the mills in South India improving the quality of the flour products coming into market. In 2007, he joined a flour mill at Salem overseeing the entire operations of the firm. In 2012, he quit the post to start a new firm M/s Jay Jothi Foods (P) Ltd in Madurai.

M/s Jay Jothi Foods (P) Ltd was started along with promoters of M/s Sarawathi Agro Foods who also have vast experience in this field in 2012.

The idea is to provide refined flour of different varieties for different segments of customers as per requirements. We introduced premium refined flour for poratta, medium variety for bakers and low variety for various vermicelli and biscuits plants. 


Idea of second unit was proposed in 2016 due to increase in demand of our products. The location was selected at SIPCOT industrial estate, Nilakotai. Commercial production started from 2019.

A parallel unit under the name of M/s Jay Jothi Agro Industry was set up as a partnership firm near to unit 2. The idea was to explore the retail segment and develop allied products from output of M/s Jay Jothi Foods.

Mr.R.JAYAPRAKASH

Director

Mr.R.JAYAPRAKASH is already well experienced in similar trade and industry, having more than 30 years experience. He is running a similar type of industry in Coimbatore.

Mr.P.JAYASANKAR

Managing Director

Mr.P.JAYASANKAR, Managing Director, is a qualified technical person having completed his M.Tech and Gold medalist in F.M.Tech in CFTRI, Mysore. He is well experienced in the similar trade and industry. He was the General Manager in a leading flour mill for more than 17 years. Later he was consultant to most of the top flour mills in South India.

Mr.J.BALA VIJAIKUMAR

Director

Mr.J.BALA VIJAIKUMAR is already well experienced in similar trade and industry having more than 10 years experience. He is running a similar type of industry in Coimbatore.

Mrs.J.PONMANI

Finance Director

Mrs.J.PONMANI is qualified M.Sc, M.Phil. Graduate has good experience in accounts and administration. At present she is managing the administration and accounts in M/s. JAYJOTHI FOODS PVT LTD., Madurai.

Mr.J.CHAANAKYA

Executive Director

Mr.J.CHAANAKYA, B.E. is a Mechanical engineer joining the firm in 2015. Presently he is looking after production in unit – 1 of M/s Jayjothi Foods (P) Ltd.
